Incarnation
my name was k’itéiyo. i belonged to a clan named mák’to. our race was called nitáwák’to, a sapient fae like race that lived on a moon called pandora, the same moon shown in james camerons avatar alongside the na’vi people. we were mostly peaceful beings, protective of our sacred lands. only if it was necessary, we would fight to protect. but other than that, we were harmless. we were great at self defense although it usually wasnt needed within our own race.
i know that pandora actually exists out there, its not just fictional. and fortunately the events in the movie of human interaction and destruction never actually took place, our planet remains untouched by humans and hopefully will be forever.
nitáwák’to were like the na’vi being like hunter-gatherers, just on a much smaller scale and less meat oriented. we were an incredibly tiny race. we ranged from .3-.5 inches in height. our frame was very thin, but humanoid. we had three fingers and one thumb and four toes. we didnt have hair, but we would make headdresses and decorate ourselves with berries, leaves, crystals, moss, and horn/antler like objects. our skins appearance was aesthetically similar to the na’vi; our skin colours would range from forest green to cyan/turquoise. our skin had some mixtures of these colours, like vague blotches and more dominantly visual patterns. we had tiny bioluminescent speckles on our skin, each design unique to ourselves. we had 2-4 eyes with mantis like pupils and our eyes were normally an emerald green with darker greens and yellow speckles within them. our ears were long and pointed and our senses were sharp. our wings were like dragonflys wings, normally about half of an inch in length and were iridescent as well.
where my clan lived was beautiful. we lived on one of the more giant floating mountains. we lived right next to a pond within a lush green forest. we had a sacred tree which housed many of us, but some of us also lived in the ground, similar to hobbit holes. there was an opening where the pond lead to a waterfall off in the distance, and across that was another waterfall parallel to ours. i would normally sit on a ledge with moss with bioluminescent sporophyte (which was very plentiful), looking out at our tree and pond. we had tiny street lamp like lights spread across our walkways that lead to our tree. we had a doc with some tiny boats made of wood, leaves, and sticks.
like the na’vi, there were different clans in different climates around pandora. clans in the floating mountains, in the bioluminescent forests, the plains, the oceans, etc.
our language was similar to the na’vi as well. our language was unique to our clan, it was called ìe’mák’to. so talking with other clans was always difficult. unfortunately, thats really all that i can remember at this time. im hoping as time goes on i can remember our spoken and written language. unfortunately i also cant remember any of my fellow clan members names. just my own so far.
our diet consisted of berries, nuts, plants, and water of course.
we had two leaders in our clan. they were more or less like a universal parent figures who were professionals in their magick work, spirituality, and knowledge. they had no ill intent or the intent of forcing laws/rules on us. due to our peaceful nature, there were normally no crimes. we looked up to them for their knowledge of the universe, as we were beings connected to all life, so learning about life outside our race was encouraged, if not vital to our development and knowledge of life. we had no gender specific roles within our clan, everyone was equal to one another.
we had some similar fauna like earth, and we had relations with them. the two i can remember distinctly that were closest to us were moth like beings and mantis like beings. the mantises were very wise and their nature was strong in knowledge, leadership, and magick. in our language, we called them i’tán, which means ‘elders’ in english. they wore small feather like things that hung from beads made of crystals and pebbles around their necks. some of them also wore leather like clothing on their abdomens along with more of what i mentioned before. and the moths, we called them n’pák’téyo, which means ‘warriors’ in english. n’pák’téyo were semi-anthropomorphic. they stood on two legs, but the rest was the normal anatomy for moths. they were like warriors, normally wielding decorative spears/staffs and dressed and decorated with tiny bells, painted and jeweled scales, armour made of painted leather like materials, and stones/pebbles. their nature was stronghearted, fearless, and great explorers and problem solvers. they would accompany us on our travels and would protect us if we couldnt ourselves.
there were also horned beetle like creatures that we called kotoe. they were also semi-anthropomorphic, standing on two legs while the rest were used as arms. they were more reckless warriors than n’pák’téyo, sort of like barbarians, but more civil. they wore small stones/pebbles, bits of leaves, and sashes made of leather like scraps.
we had deities that we worshipped, but they were not technically gods. they were more like elementals. there was a sun elemental, moon, sky, water, ground, trees, etc. i wish i could remember their names. once i relearn their names, i can finally worship them again, which excites me.

in my timeline, i was just a normal inkling girl who loved turf wars, ranked battles, hanging out with my friends and watching the sunset normally at blackbelly skatepark with snacks and whatnot. i was a bubbly girl, i loved making others laugh and try to be as positive as i could. when others needed help, i was more than happy to do so, even if i was busy.
one day i happened to stumble upon capn in octo valley. i had just freshly turned 14 at this time. he recruited me as part of the new squidbeak splatoon with my consent. i didnt 100% understand what i was going to be up against though, but i was willing to do what i could.
when i was finished with the daily missions, id leave and head back to the plaza.

the best way i could describe what i looked like was the draco cathaidae, a type of asian lung dragon. my colouration and patterns were similar to the ikran (mountain banshees) from avatar, all except my colours were oranges, yellows, reds, and having black and brown spots.
i lived in a very high up cave in the mountains above a long river between smaller mountains than my own that eventually lead to the ocean. the river was straight in front of the opening of my cave. from what i remember, it was a rainforest type land. im not 100% sure if i lived among humans or not, nor am i sure if i lived in the same plane as they did. i lean towards probably not. my most prominent memory is sitting outside of my cave towards the sunset that peaked between the two mountains where the river was, bright yellows to dark purple skies.
my diet consisted of mainly fish, rarely red meat.
